DTHF convenes meeting on November 10
Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): The Dimapur Tribal Hoho Forum has convened a meeting on November 10, 2:00 pm at the Tourist lodge to discuss the matter relating to the court verdict on NCD issue for ‘amicable solution’. All Tribal Hoho Presidents have been requested to attend the said meeting on priority basis.
NSCN (R) condoles
Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): The NSCN (Reformation) through its MIP expressed sorrow at the demise of Kilonser, Akru Ringa s of Chozuba Town under Phek District, on November 5. Late Ringa joined the Naga National movement in 1995, and served the Nation under various capacities, it said. “The late leader leaves behind his legacy as a daring and a staunch Nationalist for all his comrades and compadres to cherish on,” it added. The NSCN (R) prayed for his soul to rest in eternal peace and also prayed for solace to the bereaved family members.
Webinar on ‘Entrepreneurship: Ground Zero Stories’ held
Kohima, November 7 (MExN): The Department of Vocation, Modern College, Kohima organised a one day national webinar under the topic ‘Entrepreneurship: Ground Zero Stories’ on November 7. The webinar was chaired by Roshan Pradhan, Alumni (batch 2020) and Nukchala Jamir, HoD, Department of Vocation, delivered the welcome address. The speaker was Deep Jyoti Gurung, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. He presented on real time ground stories running social enterprise from a community called Garung Thuk in Arunachal Pradesh and the second case study on social entrepreneur couple who started the Diphlu River Lodge (DRL), a luxury accommodation facility in Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The presentation was followed by a series of questions from the audience. Altogether 132 participants attended the webinar and the programme was recorded by Yudangchetba Jamir (5th semester B.Voc).
