ADC Jalukie seals house 

JALUKIE, NOVEMBER 9 (MExN): The ADC Jalukie, Dr Tinojongshi Chang, NCS has notified that in view of the detection of COVID-19 positive persons through Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, a house located under Beisumpuikam village has been sealed with effect from November 8  till further order. Further, the ADC has advised the public to follow all safety precautions of wearing masks at all time, frequently washing hands and maintain social distance/physical distance to ensure public hygiene and personal hygiene. The ADC cautioned that any person violating this order will be liable to be prosecuted as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under Section-188 of the IPC.

NNC CEC meeting on Nov 16

KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 9 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) has informed that a meeting of the Central Executive Council (CEC) will be held on November 16 at TPC, Kohima. A press release from NNC Vice President, L Kaiso said that the meeting will mainly discuss on “national stand and consolidation.” It asked all CEC members, regional Presidents and federal leaders to positively attend the meeting. 

P&AR Dept notifies

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 9 (MExN): The Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms has informed that Sehjang Doungel, NCS, Secretary will hold additional charge of Parliamentary Affairs while Angelina Tajen, NCS, Additional Secretary will hold additional charge of New & Renewable Energy. Meanwhile, Kekhrievor Kevichusa, IPos, Commissioner & Secretary, Industries & Commerce will hold additional charge of Information & Public Relations.

Pughoboto SDPDB meeting on Nov 13 

PUGHOBOTO, NOVEMBER 9 (MExN): The Sub Divisional Planning and Development Board for the month of November will be held at the DB court hall, Pughoboto at 11:00 am on November 13. A press release from the ADC has asked all to attend the meeting without fail.

TUD for settlement of NCD turmoil

Dimapur, November 9(MExN): The Tenyemi Union Dimapur (TUD) has extended support to the Dimapur Tribal Hohos Forum (DTHF) in the latter’s stand to initiate amicable settlement of the prolonged Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) issue. A press release from Hilo Rengma, TUD Chairman said that the turmoil within the NCD has had an adverse effect on the public and extended support to the DTHF’s initiative.
