Polling personnel deployed for bye-poll
KIPHIRE, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): Polling personnel moved out for their Bye Election duty to 60 Pungro Kiphire A/C. Due to the bad condition of the road in some villages, some of the polling party moved out yesterday since they have to walk on foot. Five women teams were also sent as polling personnel to their respective assigned villages, informed a report from the DIPR. Altogether, there are 77 polling stations with twenty nine thousand and five hundred voters under the 60 Pungro Kiphire A/C.
Nagaland Gov extends Chavang Kut greetings

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): St Xavier Catholic Church Kidima observed ‘All Souls Day’ with rest of the world with Parish Priest Reverend Father Siby John in the church premises on November 2. Fr Siby John in asked the “faithful people for confession to take part in the presbytery in the midst of the pandemic.” Intersection of Mother Mary, Eucharist celebration, special prayer was offered for the departed souls followed blessing of the tomb.

District Hospital OPD sealed in Peren
Peren, November 2 (MExN): In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive patient and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 and as per the SOP issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Directorate General of Health Services (EMR) Division, Government of India, ADC Peren, Moa Sangtam has notified that the OPD of District Hospital, Peren is sealed for 48 hours with effect from November 2. Further, the ADC has advised all public to follow all safety precautions especially within the proximity of the sealed areas. “Any person violating this order will be liable to be persecuted as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section-188 of the IPC,” the ADC Peren added.
