Ex-PAN meeting on November 28
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 20 (MExN): The Ex Parliamentarians Association of Nagaland (PAN) has called for a general meeting on November 28 at 11:00am at the Tourist Lodge conference hall in Dimapur. A press release from the association informed all the members to attend the meeting without fail. It informed that the meeting would review the previous meetings and follow up actions, approve the association’s constitution and take up other matters.
Induslnd Bank Dmp sealed
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 20 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur has ordered the temporary sealing of Indusind Bank, Nyamo Lotha Road, near Plaza Bakery Dimapur for 48 hours with immediate effect till further order. This has been done as a COVID-19 preventive measure, an order from the DC informed. Any person violating these containment measures will be liable to be proceeded as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section-188 of the IPC.
Unidentified dead body recovered in Dmp
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 20 (MExN): Dimapur Police today informed that the dead body of an unidentified non local woman was found at the railway tracks (Km 261/3-4) towards Khatkati on November 20. A press release from the PRO, Dimapur Police said that the woman was aged approximately 60-65 and on completion of all legal formalities, the body has been shifted to District Hospital Dimapur for post mortem examination/identification. Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased have been requested to contact Officer-in-Charge, GRPS, Dimapur.
WTC notifies businesses
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 20 (MExN): ADC & Administrator, Wokha Town Council (WTC), K Mhathung Tsanglao has informed all shops, business establishments, restaurants and hotels under Wokha Town Council that it is mandatory to make available hand washing facility or keep hand sanitizer for use by customers and the shop keepers/salesmen/waiters with effect from November 23. Non compliance shall result in first offence penalty of Rs. 500, an order from the ADC cautioned. Offence after one week of first offence shall result in sealing of the establishment with or without suspension of registration/ license wherever applicable, till facilities are provided.
