AR provides emergency medical aid to pregnant woman
DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 19 (MExN): The Shamatore battalion of the Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) provided emergency medical assistance to a 29 year old woman who was in critical condition due to pregnancy related complication on October 16 at Ponyo village. A press release from the PRO, IGAR (N) informed that the AR medical staff and staff of the Nagaland Health Department from Pangsha gave her immediate medical assistance but her condition needed hospitalization and specialist medical care. She was immediately evacuated to District Hospital, Noklak.
