LSU executive meeting
Dimapur, October 28 (MExN): Leshemi Students' Union (LSU) has convened an executive meeting on October 31, 11:00 am at Community Hall Leshemi Village. All the executive, advisory board and representative have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
NGBF meeting on Nov 2-3
Dimapur, October 28 (MExN): Nagaland Gaonburas Federation (NGBF) has rescheduled its meeting on November 2 and 3 at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur. All the Presidents and General Secretaries of district GBs Association including Tsemingyu, Melori and Noklak, office bearers of NGBF are requested to attend without failed. It is to be noted only mentioned members are requested to attend. The meeting was postponed due to unavoidable reasons and inconvenience caused is regretted, stated a press release issued by Akhu Naga, Media secretary, NGBF.
Special prayer for CS
Kohima, October 28 (MExN): A special prayer was observed for Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy, IAS for his speedy recovery during the executive meeting of the All Nagaland Directorate and District Government Driver’s Union on October 23. The Union also extended their constant support.
Training for polling officials held
Kohima, October 28 (MExN): A two day hands on training plan for polling officials for the forthcoming bye-election to the 14 Southern Angami 1 (ST) Assembly Constituency was concluded on October 28. On the second day of the training, District Level Master Trainer (DLMT) T Chubayanger, BodeviShuya, BikatoJimo and Lorin (NIC) demonstrated the function of EVM/VVPAT machine, followed by hands on training by the polling officials. Roles of presiding officers and polling officers were also highlighted by the DLMT during the training.
