111 Bn BSF Satakha celebrated 57th BSF Raising Day on December 1. During weeklong celebrations (November 25 to December 1), games and sports involving local population, literary activities in schools, plantation drives and exhibition of weapons and equipment were conducted. The celebration culminated with a cultural programme showcasing the rich heritage of the Force followed by Barakhana. Sanjay Tandan, Commandant, 111 Bn BSF welcomed all the guests present on the occasion and vote of thanks was delivered by Rajeev Ranjan Sinha, Second-In-Command.

Impur Christian Hospital (ICH) General Duty Assistant 7th passing out ceremony was successfully held on December 2 at Impur. Altogether 32 students were awarded certificates upon the completion of the course. Presentation of certificates and the word of God were administered by Toshi Sanglir, Secretary, ABAM YM. With the purpose to make citizens aware about the importance and achievements of COVID vaccinations by the country, Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Tuensang Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India organised an outreach programme on ‘India’s journey to 100 crore covid vaccination achievements’ at Navinn Hotel Conference Hall, Tuensang on November 12. Dr Zerilla from Civil Hospital, Tuensang was the resource person. Quiz and open essay writing competition were organised to mark the celebration. FSSAI registration and licensing camp was held at Police Point, Zunheboto Town. It was organized by the Food Safety Mokokchung Zone, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare. The campaign was initiated by Merenlemba Ao, Designated Officer (Food Safety) and Sukumlo Yanthan, Food Safety Officer (FSO). The Designated Officer (Food Safety) stated that the purpose of this camp was for greater coverage of online registration and renewal of licensing. Satoi Range Public Union Zunheboto (SRPUZ) observed monthly prayer day along with the release of its logo at the residence of its banker, Atobo Jimo in Amphoto Colony, Zunheboto Town on December 1. SRPUZ, Chairman, Akaho Achumi unveiled the logo while the General Secretary, Vitoka Aye on behalf of the logo committee announced the SRPUZ motto as ‘Progress in Bond of Unity.’ Aye also informed that during the SRPUZ executive meeting on August 28, 2021, it unanimously resolved that the nomenclature ‘Satoi Tokukujo Kuposhukulu Zunheboto’ was changed to ‘Satoi Range Public Union Zunheboto’ and therefore, all official correspondence of the Union shall be referred according to this notification.
