A total of eighty people in quarantine including three drivers, were discharge from RUSA quarantine center Yingli and Yingli quarantine center, Longleng for home quarantine after completion of 21 days institutional quarantine. Kuki Inpi, Nagaland donated a sum of Rs 1 lakh to the Empowered Group, Dimapur towards the fight against COVID-19 on June 29. Earlier, Niholu Ayemi OSD to Transport Minister had also donated Rs 1lakh towards welfare of frontline workers in Dimapur. APC and Dimapur incharge for COVID-19 activities, Y. Kikheto Sema, IAS thanked them for the generous contribution and assured to utilize the amount judiciously for all the frontline workers of Dimapur engaged in the fight against the pandemic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Altogether 225 people reached Dimapur by flight on June 29. Out of 225 persons, Air India flight brought 111 from Kolkata, 17 from Imphal and 2 from Guwahati. While Indigo flight carried 95 people from Kolkata. According to a DIPR report, after the medical screening and mandatory procedures were done all the returnees were transported by buses to their respective quarantine centers. The District Agriculture Office (DAO) Phek distributed farm machineries under SMAM 2019-20 to the farmers at Phek town on June 29. Speaking at the distribution ceremony, Zhoi Lohe, SDO (C) Phek was appreciative of the agriculture department for providing modern farm equipments to the farmers. He urged upon the farmers to use the provided facility judiciously and increase the agricultural production in the coming days. Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur has completed its 100th project of tenure 2019-20 under the presidentship of Pinki Agarwal on June 29. A garbage dumping area in Murgi Patti, G S Road was transformed and beautified with Club logo and named as ‘Inner Wheel Point.’  The project was supervised by Sanjana Agarwal and inaugurated by DMC Administrator Albert Ezung.
