Under the aegis of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), the Food Safety Cell under the establishment of the Chief Medical Officer, office, Kohima organized a programme on a theme “Blissful Hygienic offering to God” at Gorkha Public Panchayat by Peterson Pongener, Designated Officer, Food Safety on February 26. The programme highlighted on safety major and hygienic protocols to be disseminated at various level like churches, Temples, Gurudwara and Mosque through power-point presentation.

Leo Club of Dimapur hosted EKSANG Dobara, the 3rd Council Meet of Leo District 322D at Hotel Europa Inn on February 28. All council members including District President Leo Rishav Dadlika, District Secretary Leo Shreya Modi, District Treasurer Leo Pranay Poddar, District Vice President Leo Taran Soni and Immediate Past District President Leo Rishab Chhabra took part in the meeting. It was also graced by DG Lion Lalita R Khadria. District President presided the meeting and presented the awards for the 3rd quarter in which Leo Club of Dimapur was recognised with a certificate. Shamator Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) distributed wheel chairs and hearing aids at Noklak and Tuensang districts on February 28. The aim of the project was to improve the quality of life of the differently abled persons. Under this project, a total of 14 wheel chairs and 17 hearing aids were distributed to the physically challenged people. Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) participated in a campaign of District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit on HIV prevention organised by Longya Ward Youth Organization in Kiphire Town on February 27.
