Nagaland Minister for PWD (Mechanical & Housing) and Chairman, Mokokchung DPDB, Tongpang Ozukum on June 6 visited the PSA Oxygen Plant at IMDH, Mokokchung along with officials from Medical, Police and District Administration. Later he visited Fazl Ali College campus and Impur Christian Hospital, Impur and had a meeting with ABAM and the hospital authorities in relation to COVID-19 preparedness in the district. Nagaland House, New Delhi organized COVID vaccination camp in its campus at 29, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Road on June 5. All 46 staff of Nagaland House and 7 staff of Department of Customs and Central Excise were given Covishield Vaccine during the exercise conducted by team of Fortis Hospital, Shalimarbagh New Delhi. Western Sümi Youth Front (WSYF) visited Niuland CHC, Kuhuboto PHC and Nihokhu Sub-Centre on June 7. WSYF Media Cell in a press release stated that the in charge of the health care facilities apprised the team about the problems they face such as lack of oxygen, infrastructure, ambulance etc. Niuland MO incharge apprised them about shortage of staff and doctors in the CHC. The WSYF team distributed health care goods such as hand sanitizers, medicines, PPE kits, Face Masks, Hand gloves etc, to the CHC Niuland, PHC kuhuboto, Nihokhu Sub-Centre and also to Aghunaqa area health sub-centers.
