In continuation of the cleanliness campaign under the banner “Keep Our City Clean (KOCC),” Kohima additional deputy commissioner N Bhavani Sri launched a car sticker on cleanliness on September 20. Addressing the launching service at SKV petrol pump, ADC lauded the KOCC team for undertaking a cleanliness drive and further called upon the citizens to stand together to make Kohima beautiful. Khriehuzo Lohe also spoke at the programme. Kikruneinuo Liezietsu compered the programme while special number was president by children of Bright Morning Star Children Home, Kohima. The car stickers have been made possible under the sponsorship of Chotisuh Sazo, Pele Khezhie, Kovi Meyase and Innovation press.

KROS College, Kohima conducted student induction programme for the fresher, where they had an orientation on Student Council and various Departments from September 14 to 18. Exhortation was given by the toppers on the first day. Day two witnessed mentor and mentee interaction about personality development and self love. On day three, time management, listening and speaking skills, and assignment writing was taught to the students. On day four, friendly basketball and volley ball matches were played between the fresher and seniors. On the last day, a competition on painting, essay, sketch, and talent presentation were also conducted where the winners were awarded with gift hampers. (DIPR Photo)

Swacchata Samvad (live interaction) with village leaders of over 15 villages under Kuhuboto block in Dimapur was held at Kuhuboto Town Hall organized by PHED (Rural) division, Dimapur on September 20. It is being observed in commemoration of 75 years of India’s Independence and as part of the Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) aimed to encourage all the villages to pass resolutions for sustenance of Open Defecation Free (ODF) plus in all the villages in Dimapur district. SDO, Kuhuboto block Er Myanbemo Ovung and District Coordinator, District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM), Imojungla Longkumer spoke during the event.
