Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima released the 3rd Volume of MITE Journal of Education on May 21. The Journal was released by Pelee Hekha, Managing Director, MITE in Conference Hall. Dr H L Gangte, Vice Principal and Editor of the Journal said that it was a follow-up activity of the ‘One Day Online National Conference on Fostering Interdisciplinary Experiences through Blended Learning’ participated by eminent professors, educationists, scholars and from across the nation. Revival Crusade (inter-denominational) under the initiative of Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) in commemoration of 25 years of jubilee in December 2022 under the theme ‘Proclaim the year of the Lord’ held its fourth phase at AG Colony, Model HSS on May 19 and at New Ministers Hill near Panchayat Hall May 20. On May 19, the speaker was Neilhou Sopfűnuo, Evangelist, KBC while on May 20, Nyamongi, Evangelist, KBC was the speaker. District Tobacco Control Cell, Peren organized enforcement drive at Jalukie town with the police personnel and social worker of District Tobacco Control Cell Peren on May 20. Five shops were penalized under COPA ACT 2003 Section 6(a) and Sec 6(b) for selling of tobacco within 100 Metres yards of educational institution.
