Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) organised its annual fresher’s meet at the LFI auditorium on July 1. During the function Alice Konyak of Grade-XI Science 2023 and Medotso Peseyie of Grade-XI Commerce were declared as Miss and Mr Fresher 2023 respectively. The panel of judges included Andrew Ahoto Sema, Chairman LFI, Ani Yepthomi, Director LFI, Vimeyieno Tsukru, Anna Zimo, Ms Fresher 2022 and Ongba M Angto, Mr. Fresher 2022.

City College of Arts and Commerce, Dimapur conducted two-day workshop on ‘NAAC Assessment and Accreditation Process’ organised by Internal Quality Assurance Cell on June 30 and July 1 with Dr Chubakumzuk Jamir, Asst Prof Department of Economics, Yingli College, Longleng and Dr Moameren Pongen, Asst Prof Department of Political Science, St Joseph University, Chümoukedima as the resource persons. Four technical sessions were conducted and one session of hands-on training was conducted wherein all the faculty members, the alumni and the students participated. 

The BSF troops in the campus of 37 Bn BSF, Chedema Kohima found and rescued one Asian Forest Tortoise a rare and endangered species weighing about 20Kg on June 30. Forest department of Nagaland was informed about the rescue of Asian Forest tortoise and the tortoise was safely handed over to Thejao Rhutso from Forest Department (Wild Life Division), Nagaland by BSF officials in the presence of Sh SP Singh, 21C, 0181; 37 Bn BSF, Kohima.
