Bible Society of India (BSI) inaugurated its Wancho Branch at Wancho Baptist Churches Mission Centre (WBCA) in Niaunu, Longding, Arunachal Pradesh on February 20. The WBCA staff and pastors from 67 churches attended the inaugural cum one day seminar. Honman Wangjen, Executive Secretary, WBCA delivered the welcome address. Village Adoption Committee (VAC) for Southern Angami-1 A/C under the aegis of Kohima DPDB organised training on baking and an anti-rabies vaccination camp at Village Council Hall, Kigwema on February 19. Training on baking was organised under the initiative of District Youth Resources Officer, Chubarenla Longchar with Pelong Konyak of Peecee bakers as the resource person. Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Zunheboto, Nagaland University, conducted NCIPM, New Delhi sponsored training program on Integrated Pest Management on fruits and vegetables at Litta New Village on February 19. Toshi Longkumer, ACTO (Plant Protection) was the resource person. Distribution of sprayers, yellow sticky traps, bio-pesticides and vegetable seeds were made in the programme. A coffee farm in the village was identified and adopted for IPM. Altogether 53 farmers attended the programme.

ATMA Peren block conducted demonstration at three farm schools at New Puilwa, Peren village and Mhainamtsi village with resource person, Fishery Demonstrator, Peren Chubatemjen on February 11 and 12.
