President of Western Sümi GB Federation S Vihuto Yepthomi inaugurated the ‘Food Kingdom: Meat & Essentials’ store at 4th Mile, Dimapur on December 13. Proprietor Shekiho Kiba informed that the store was inaugurated following an invocation prayer by Pastor of Sümi Baptost Church, Dimapur Nikhui Achumi.

Nagaland Advisor for IT & C, Science & Technology and New & Renewable Energy,  Mmhonlumo Kikon released a documentary entitled ‘Nagaland I Know’ and a coffee table book of Vikuonuo Sachu, Miss Nagaland on December 13 in  Kohima. 

The Unity College of Teacher Education (UCTE), Dimapur observed International Human Rights Day on December 10 in the Seminar Hall of the College with the theme ‘Equality-Reducing Inequalities, Advancing Human Rights.’ The program was organized by the Literary club of the College with host Heena Parveen and Mesinlungliu, 

A one day training programme on Scientific Piggery Cum Input distribution was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Peren District on December 10 at KVK Farm. The programme was sponsored by ICAR- Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology (IIAB), RANCHI under NEH Component. 

The Ecclesia Theological College & Seminary, Darogajan, Dimapur celebrated advent Christmas on December12 at 6:00 pm at the college campus. The resource person, Rev Moses Murry, Chairman, Christian Forum Dimapur, addressed the gathering and spoke on the value and significance of Christmas. He elucidated that the true meaning of Christmas lies in sharing and giving. He further urged the gathering that the values of sharing should be transmitted from one generation to the other, extending love especially towards the poor and the needy. 

A Candlelight Vigil was jointly organized by the Eastern Nagaland Students' Union Bengaluru (ENSUB) and Naga Students' Union Bengaluru (NSUB) on December 12. The program was organized to show solidarity to the victims of the December 3 and 4 killings in Oting, Mon.
