Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Dimapur organised a ‘Within State Farmers Training’ on Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) at KVK (ICAR) Jalukie on March 9. The participating farmers were briefed on Integrated Farming System Approach, package of practices of King Chilly cultivation, and Soil Health Management in IFS. All together 15 farmers from Sochunoma, Zhuikhu, Molvon and Tsuuma attended the training programme which was followed interactive sessions between farmers and scientists. Medical team with colony Council members pose a photo during a one-day free medical camp at Imkonglenden Colony, Dimapur organised under Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Burma camp on March 27. The Medical camp was supervised by Dr. Chamzai Newmai (Medical Officer) along with other medical staff where around 70 patients from Imkonglenden colony have availed the service.

The KVK Peren conducted a special training programme for Extension Personnel of Agri and Allied departments on March 26 at Women Welfare Hall, Jalukie town. During the programme, sessions on Seed Technology-its introduction and attributes; Seed Replacement Ratio- Its Concept and Importance, and how to empower rural youths through Agricultural Extension Services were taken up.
