Longleng District Legal Services Authority (LDLSA) organized one-day legal awareness programme on at Yingli College on March 2. Resource persons, Panel Lawyer P Monyei Phom spoke on Motor Vehicle Act and offences related to it. Panel Lawyer Chingmei Phom spoke on cyber crime and various laws related to cyber crime. Wokha District Administration and DLCW-MSK under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao distributed encouragement gifts to all girl children who will be appearing HSLC and HSSLC examination 2021 on March 2. Imtinungla Longkumer, EAC Wokha gave a brief introduction on the purpose of the programme. She said that this was the second time that the district has organised such activity for the girl child. Deputy Commissioner Orenthung Lotha also spoke during the function. The encouragement gift included pencil pouch, 2 pens, pencil, an eraser, sharpener and book mark which was handed to the head masters and teachers in charge of respective schools. Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a medical camp at Peren Namdi, Peren district, Nagaland on March 3. The AR personnel conducted medical check up of all the villagers. The villager were briefed about the various health and hygiene methods to be implemented during this crisis and were provides with necessary medicines.
