A sanitary pad vending machine along with incinerator was donated to Nurses (girls) Hostel by Rotary Club Mokokchung, as part of Rotary District 3240 District Grant for the year 2019-20, approved and funded by the Rotary Foundation.
The Mokokchung Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) distributed hearing aids and wheel chairs to the physically challenged people of the Mokokchung District. The project was executed under the Assam Rifles Civic Action Program Project.
The Kohima Battalion of the Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) carried out interactive session with Ex-Servicemen and their families. The Ex-Servicemen were updated about the procedure for redressal of grievances. The Ex-Servicemen and their families were also handed over Medical equipment and hearing aids as per their requirements. A total of 40 Ex-Servicemen and their families participated in the event.
