(DIPR Photo)District Health Society, Zunheboto conducted the National Newborn Week 2023 under the theme, ‘Nurturing Newborn Lives through community-Facility Engagement.’ The weeklong programme was observed from November 15-21 across all health units under Zunheboto district with an aim in raising awareness about the crucial role of newborn care in ensuring child survival and development. In the district headquarter, the National newborn week was launched at the District Hospital Zunheboto by Dr Heto DPO (UIP&RCH). He emphasized on the crucial role of community engagement in ensuring the well-being of newborns.Capacity building on Tour Guiding & Homestay, organised by Department of Tourism in collaboration with Nagaland Tourism Association (NTA), was held at Riga Thong Memorial Hall RengmaHoho Building, Tseminyu on November 21. Sr. Tourism Officer Tseminyu, T Lichumo Kikon in his keynote address highlighted on tourism potential Nagaland, tour guiding as a profession and home stay as a business.
