A special Civic Action Programme was organised by the 45 Assam Rifles at the Village Council Hall, Chizami on August 25. Led by Col Krishna Mishra, the team donated sports equipment for the youth. The Chizami Village Council, Chizami Youth Society, and the citizens of Chizami expressed their gratitude, noting that such initiatives encourage the younger generation, promote healthy recreational activities, and strengthen the bond between the security forces and the community.

EUB Society, Nagaland, inaugurated its Investment Corridor Outlet near the New Secretariat, Kohima on August 27. The launch event was attended by Ruokuovolie Rutsa, Councillor of Ward 3 (North Block) of the Kohima Municipal Council. K Chumseli Anar, representing the Society's Chairman, thanked the councillor for his support in initiatives aimed at uplifting unemployed youth. Retired Project Director of the state's Department of Soil and Water Conservation, Dr Kiyasetuo Vizo, was also present. The outlet will showcase a variety of indigenous and eco-friendly products, including local millets, kholar, honeybee products, and A1 forest manure.
Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton handed over a Mahindra Bolero to the Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) in Wokha on August 27. The vehicle was provided to bolster the union's outreach and support for student welfare initiatives, a press release stated. LSU President Lirhonthung Kithan received the vehicle. Separately, the Deputy Chief Minister flagged off a new school bus for Don Bosco School in Old Riphyim. Patton stated the donation was motivated by frequently witnessing students enduring harsh weather conditions during their commute. He expressed hope that the bus would ensure safer travel and contribute to better student attendance and academic performance and beyond.
