Kohima, September 1 (MExN): The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) will be holding Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026 from November 2 to 14 at Chiimoukedima and Dimapur.
The list of disciplines recognized by the NOA has been determined as per the proposed 4th North East Games 2026, taking into consideration the available infrastructure and resources. The disciplines includes: Archery (Men & Women), Athletics (Men & Women), Badminton (Men & Women), Basketball (Men & Women), Boxing (Men & Women), Football (Men), Pencak Silat (Men & Women), Taekwondo (Men & Women) and Wushu (Men & Women).
According to NOA, each concerned sports association will be issued a separate competition notification.
A separate notification regarding the Paralympic disciplines will be issued by the Paralympic Committee.
The list of medal events for all the disciplines will be notified separately. The contingents will be as per the 17th districts of Nagaland. NOA stated that registration of players and teams will be done electronically (Online) from October 1 and the last date for submission of players and official registration will be October 15. All the districts have been requested to appoint/ re-submit one Chef De Mission and one Deputy Chef de Mission.
