Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): The inaugural Nagaland Pickleball Masters 2026 will conclude today with a closing ceremony and prize distribution at The Fitness House, organisers said.

Nagaland Minister for Higher Education and Tourism Temjen Imna Along will attend the event as the chief guest.

The three-day tournament has brought together players from Nagaland and other parts of the country, competing in multiple categories and highlighting the growing popularity of pickleball in the region.

The remaining events will be played on the final day before the overall champions are honoured during the closing ceremony.

Meanwhile, champions in three categories were decided at the end of the opening day’s competition on Friday.

In the Mixed Doubles Open category, Manaswinee Hazarika and Vilasier Khate defeated Arjun Singh and Vivian Kiba in the final.

Rachael Jones and Elona Ayemi won the Women’s Doubles Open title, finishing ahead of runners-up Manaswinee Hazarika and Nayeem Hussain.

In the Men’s Doubles Open category, Aditya Singh and Megotsolie Khate emerged champions, while Mayank SD and Zhaputso Khate finished runners-up.

Organisers said the closing ceremony will also recognise the contributions of athletes, officials, volunteers and supporters who helped make the inaugural tournament a success.
