The beneficiaries from Nagaland receive the ‘Best House Construction’ awards during annual awards for excellence in implementation of PMAY-U Mission through video conference on January 1.
Kohima, January 5 (MExN): Three beneficiaries from Nagaland secured ‘Best House Construction’ awards during the annual awards for excellence in implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) Mission along with other 85 beneficiaries from the country on January 1.
A press release from Temjenrenla Kechü, State Mission Director, PMAY-HFA (U) Mission, & Joint Director, Municipal Affairs Department, Kohima informed that the recipients include Seyievino Angami and John Liegise Zeliang from Dimapur and Kezhusenu Tase from Kohima.
The award ceremony was graced by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, while the Secretary to the Government of India handed out the awards to the beneficiaries through video conference attended by the beneficiaries along with the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, State Mission Director, PMAY-HFA (U), State Nodal Officer for PMAY-HFA (U) besides other officials of PMAY- HFA (U) Nagaland.
