Dimapur, April 21 (MExN): The Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA), in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of India (AFI), will host the District Technical Official (DTO) course for the Northeast region from May 9 to 11 in Dimapur.
This will be the third time Nagaland is hosting the AFI’s technical officials’ training program, which is aimed at strengthening grassroots athletics by equipping untrained technical officials across India with essential skills and certification. The course is designed to enhance the quality and standard of officiating at athletics competitions.
The DTO course is open to a wide range of individuals interested in athletics, including parents, former athletes, physical education teachers, and coaches. Successful participants will be awarded a DTO-level certificate from the Athletics Federation of India.
Registration is open from April 1 to April 30, 2025, and interested candidates can apply through the AFI’s official website at https://tms.indianathletics.in/registers/DTO.
