KOHIMA, MARCH 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Directorate of Social Welfare today informed that the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched a National Portal for Transgender Persons. The portal provides for online submission of an application seeking Certificate of Identity as well as Identity Card (one application would suffice for both) by a Transgender person from anywhere in the country along with provision to upload prescribed documents. The URL of the Portal is transgender.dosje.gov.in/Admin, informed a press release from the directorate.
