Longleng, August 21 (MExN): The Namsang Citizen Union (NCU) has appealed the Department of PWD (R&B) to look into the pathetic road condition stretching from Lushei village to Shetap village under Longleng district which has been earmarked as Foothill road connecting Naginimora Town under Mon district.
In an appeal letter, the NCU stated that this road is the life line of the Namsang area and has been in dire state for a very long time.
While the office appreciates the PWD (R&B) Division under Longleng district for an emergency clearance work performed in the month of July 2020. However with the monsoon rains, the said road has become deplorable and unmortorable, adding misery to the already suffering and distressed public of the area, stated a press release issued by NCU President M Baue Phom.
Therefore, the NCU has appealed the responsible authorities to look into the matter and repair road without further delay.
