DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 13 (MExN): The inaugural ceremony for the NDPP 40 A/C Bhandari office was held on December 10 at Bhandari HQ. It was attended by all representatives of NDPP members from the grass root level of 40 A/C.
R John Ezung, President of the party’s Wokha unit spoke on the present scenario of the party and its achievements. John Kikon from the central youth wing of the party also encouraged the constituency’s party workers.
Amos Odyuo, President of Wokha youth wing said that the youth play a vital role in the political field. Dr John Murry, Treasurer, NDPP Nagaland meanwhile stressed on the need to intensify party activities at the grass root level for the forthcoming general election 2023.
The occasion was graced by Mhathung Yanthan, Advisor, Horticulture and Border Affairs who also inaugurated the office of 40 A/C NDPP during the occasion. He stressed on the foundation of NDPP at the state level through grass root level in bringing all round development in the state.
Meanwhile, he pointed out that 40 A/C Bhandari is a vast area that borders Assam and in order to have a cordial relationship and peaceful coexistence with the neighboring state, he called for strong political foundation which can bring border issue settlement and permanent peace.
The programme was chaired by David K Lotha, President, 40 A/C NDPP Bhandari. Further the 40 A/C Bhandari NDPP workers congratulated Chingwang Konyak for his retention to the post of President NDPP Nagaland, and pledged to extend full support to the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio government.
