The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency today conducted a social work in the state capital Kohima in commemoration of Nagaland’s chief minister Neiphiu Rio’s 70th birthday.
NDPP 9th Kohima Town A/C stated that Neiphiu Rio is one of the tallest leaders in Nagaland political history.
“He has and continues to make a huge impact in the lives of the people. Despite the many hurdles, he had founded the NDPP party and led it to victory as the major partner in the current PDA Coalition Government,” stated NDPP 9th Kohima Town A/C.
It also stated that it was also a matter of pride and satisfaction that “our leader and party MLA Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire shares Rio's vision and has been a pillar of strength and support to our CM in this great pursuit.”
The NDPP 9 Kohima Town A/C with the support of Dr. Nicky organized this social work wherein many party officials joined the same.
