Vecüto Tenyi
Kohima, January 3 (MExN): NDPP Central Youth Organization, General Secretary Vecüto Tenyi has passed away on January 2 in Kohima.
Nagaland Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Neiba Kronu in a condolence note described Tenyi as a young, dynamic and energetic youth leader “whose absence will be deeply felt by all those who are in close association with him.”
The minister joined the NDPP rank and file in expressing a heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
“Late Vecuto, a young, dynamic leader who was loved by all, had been undergoing treatment for some time yet he always exuded enthusiasm to serve in every possible way he could. Though he left us early yet he shall always be remembered for his cheerful demeanor in all his dealing. The vacuum created by his demise will be hard to fill,” stated NDPP president Chingwang Konyak.
Vitoulu Domeh, media and communication secretary NDPP Phek region stated that Vecuto was an upcoming dynamic leader.
He was also among the founding members of NDPP Phek region.
“His youthful, dedicated and enthusiastic disposition contributed immensely to some major progress and achievement of the party. His sudden absence will be felt and missed deeply among the party workers in particular and the community in general,” Domeh added.
In condolence message, NDPP women organization stated that late Tenyi had so much of potential in him and his willingness to sacrifice for the people and the party was his paramount.
Vikali A Zhimomi, president Women Organization NDPP prayed to Almighty to give strength and comfort to bereaved family.
The NDPP youth wing, Wokha region remembered Tenyi as an active and influential person full of potential and a selfless attitude and “his loss will be felt and remembered in our thoughts.”
