Kohima, April 11 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Kohima Region held a consultative meeting on April 7 with central party functionaries of Kohima region, convenor and members, and the presidents and general secretaries of the six assembly constituencies.
During the meeting, wide range of party issues pertaining to assembly constituencies, the region and the central party were discussed and a five point resolution was adopted, a press release informed. The party resolved to continue enrolment of members, and to welcome any persons from other parties who are willing to join the NDPP. It also resolved to continue its support to the leadership its party president as well as the Chief Minister and urged the central party leadership to have more consultations with the grassroots party workers.
The NDPP Kohima Region also congratulated MLA H Chuba Chang for being elected in the recently held bye-election from Noksen constituency.
