The Agri & Allied Organisation of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) in Wokha Region has provided brush cutters to farmers across Wokha district. The distribution took place from March 21 to March 26 at the organisation’s regional office in Wokha.
Limathung and Chandemo, the President and General Secretary of the Agri & Allied Organisation, NDPP Wokha Region, explained that the recipients were carefully chosen from various villages after a thorough verification process. They highlighted that the selected farmers were the most deserving, underlining the significant need for such essential farming tools. The brush cutters are expected to provide much-needed assistance in the farmers’ daily tasks.
The organisation expressed sincere appreciation to Mhathung Yanthan, MLA and Advisor for the Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland, for his role in securing the allocation of these machines. They assured that all future initiatives would continue to be executed with transparency and fairness.
In its continued support of the agricultural community, the organisation pledged to address the concerns and requirements of farmers within its purview. It also reiterated its commitment to upholding the values and principles of the party in all of its undertakings.
