Kohima: Nagaland Board of School Education and Orient Blackswan, the national representative of Trinity Language Examinations organised two-days training on April 4 and 5 at the conference hall of the Board. Total 26 (twenty-six) English teachers from 13 institutions participated in the training.
The training started with Asano Sekhose, Chairman, NBSE urging all stakeholders on the need to develop and improve the communication skills of the present day learners.
It is worthwhile to mention that the NBSE had introduced communication skills in English at the secondary level in the year 2009 and gradually extended them upto the higher secondary level. Students of classes 9 and 10 in the participating 13(thirteen) institutions will be taking a GESE grade in July 2014 and be awarded a Trinity College London certificate.
