NEISSR concludes induction prog for BSW students

North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research concluded its comprehensive induction programme for Bachelor of Social Work batch of 2024-2027 on July 23.

Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): The North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) concluded its comprehensive induction programme for Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) batch of 2024-2027 on July 23. The final day of orientation was marked by events and sessions for the students, a press release from the institute stated. 

Orientation on competitive exams was conducted by IAS officer Mohammad Ali Shihab. Shihab engaged the students with an in-depth session on various competitive exams including UPSC, NPSC, NSSB, and SSC. The IAS officer also emphasized connection between social work and civil services, highlighting how a background in social work can significantly contribute to a successful career in the civil services. 

A feedback session was led by Fr Dr Robin, Academic Program Coordinator. Fr Dr CP Anto, Principal of NEISSR have the introduction note.
Further, students were introduced to VEDIK IAS Academy, a renowned institution in India known for its exceptional training for competitive exams. 

NEISSR provides mode of education, combining social work and civil service preparation, managed by the Catholic Church.
This approach provides MSW and BSW programs at affordable rate, ensuring students receive both a strong academic foundation in social work and rigorous training for competitive exams such as UPSC, NPSC, NSSB, and SSC on a regular basis.
