Kidima, April 20 (MExN): The rural camp of North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) (2020-2022 Batch), affiliated to Nagaland University, Dimapur held the theme ‘Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)’ from April 13 to 20 concluded at Kidima.
Cleanliness drive, entertainment, talent show, musical presentation, school visit followed by spiritual exercise with village mapping were the highlights of the camp. The camp also saw various sports activities were conducted with NEISSR versus Kidima youth like volleyball, rally race, tug of war, shot put, 100m race both women and men. Sweet biting and balloon bursting for children for motivation spirit development.
Dr Toli H Kiba, Assistant Professor called upon the youth to be peace makers and urged them to reach out and bridge the gap in the society. Village elder, Neisa Thol gave a message on behalf of the villagers and expressed gratitude for choosing the village for the camp expressed hope that the NEISSR students after completing of their course would come back for visit in future.
Other highlights of the programme were special numbers by Catholic and Christian Revival Church, folk songs and traditional attire.
