Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): A programme was organized to welcome NEISSR MSW final year 2020-22 batch at the Conference hall on February 20. The 6th NEISSR fresher’s meet was designed under the theme “Creating bond through cultures.” 

A press note stated that Sinlo, Students Council President in the welcome speech encouraged the fresher to work with commitment and consistency in order to achieve higher goals in life.

NEISSR, Principal, Dr Fr C P Anto Paul sharing his experiences of living in Naga community since student days highlighted the hospitability and simplicity of Naga as the uniqueness of Naga culture. He emphasized on the core values of NEISSR and the seven pillars to develop oneself as competent social workers. He also asked the students to make efforts to develop cognitive, emotive, psychomotor skills and spirituality to achieve one’s goals and aspiration while stressing the importance of mutual “Respect”.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. Sabu Chenackal, Administrator Bishop House, Director of Pastoral Care encouraged the students to do better to their potentials.
