New Caretaker/CAO assumes charge of NSCN (IM) Lotha Region

Wokha, September 1 (MExN): Following the appointment of Deputy Kilonser Yanpvuo Jungi as the Caretaker/Central Administrative Officer (CAO) of NSCN (IM) Lotha Region, an official handing and taking over ceremony was conducted on May 31, the Region Secretary informed on Wednesday.

According to the release, the outgoing Caretaker/CAO shared his experiences during his tenure and requested the members to continue extending their support to the new Caretaker/CAO while stating that he would give his unconditional support and help whenever needed. 

Meanwhile, the new Caretaker/CAO, while assuming the office, remarked that it was an ‘immense responsibility’ to be assigned the position at this point of time. He urged upon all the senior officials and staff to extend their unstinting support, guidance and help in order to effectively perform the necessary tasks at hand. Highlighting the ‘delicate situation’ at present, he advised all concerned region officials to exercise utmost discretion while performing their duties, the release stated.

On behalf of the regional staff, Headquarter Leacy Nzanbemo Kikon thanked the outgoing official for displaying exemplary qualities of leadership. Other senior members including Executive Member of Steering Committee Zaremo Murry and Steering Committee member Ajamo Ezung also spoke during the programme, the release stated.

A special for the incoming Caretaker/CAO was offered by Region Chaplain Meri Kikon, it added.
