Khezhakeno, March 1 (MExN): The new Khezhakeno Baptist Church (KBC) building was dedicated by Rev Krotso Mero, Executive Secretary, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) on February 28.
According to a press release received on Monday, the three storied church building was constructed at an approximate cost Rs 2.10 crore. The new building has a seating capacity of over 1200.
The release stated that the foundation stone for the church building was laid on December 2, 2012 by Rev Khrotso Mero who was at the time, the senior pastor at Chakhesang Baptist Church, Kitsubozou (CBCK).
The dedicatory function was led Timikha Koza, chairperson of the new Church Building Committee and the local church choir and children department presented special praise.
During the worship service, Pastor C Kemvu Koza led the service, Associate Pastor Thochu invoked God’s blessing, and Chairperson of the Khezha/Kuzha Tephe Baptist Church Council (KKTBCC) greeted the congregation.
