Dimapur, October 25 (MExN): A new team of office bearers of Namgalong Rongmei Colony Council Burma Camp, Dimapur for the tenure 2020-2025 was installed during its annual general meeting (AGM) held October 24 at its Panchayat Hall.
According to a press release, the team will be lead by Makuran Rongmei as Chairman ; Ruokovilie Gonmei- Vice Chairman; Jenpu Rongmei- Secretary; Houthairong Longmei- Joint Secretary; and Kamphun Kamei Treasurer.
An 8-member executive team comprising of Woman President & Secretary; Youth President & Secretary, two GBS and four others were also formed at the AGM, it said.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Makuran Rongmei highlighted the colony activities taken up by the council members.
During the meeting session, Council Secretary gave the annual report on council activities followed by reports from Women Organization presented by its president Sanaru Kamei, and Youth Organization activities by Ganthaolung Gonmei, Secretary NYO.
Later, the new team of Office Bearers was selected and seconded with voice vote at the AGM. The AGM also discussed various issues pertaining to colony development, membership, fund, household census and a Jubilee Committee was also constituted, the release said.
