NFR opens renovated retiring room facility at Guwahati Railway station

Dimapur/ Maligaon, June 13 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has recently renovated a retiring room facility at Guwahati Railway station. The renovated facility was inaugurated by the General Manager of NFR, Chetan Kumar Shrivastava on June 12 in presence of other senior railway officials, a press release stated.

It consists of 12 fully air-conditioned rooms with well-designed interiors, wall paintings with fully furbished attached washrooms. M/s Café-De-Woodland had been awarded for maintenance and operation of the retiring rooms for a period of three years.

The report mentioned that charges for the rooms are Rs. 1500/- per day (excluding taxes). The retiring rooms offer various modern amenities including food and beverage options, emergency doctor on call, laundry service, free Wi-fi, RO water dispenser and travel packages with taxi/car rental services.
