Maligaon, March 7 (MExN): In view of Pre-Non-Interlocking and Non-Interlocking works at Baihata, Non-Interlocking works at Changsari and CRS inspection for commissioning of double line between Baihata & Changsari under Rangiya division 24 trains will remain cancelled, 26 trains will be diverted via Kamakhya-Goalpara Town-New Bongaigaon and vice versa and 12 trains will remain partially cancelled between Guwahati-Rangiya and vice versa.
In a press release, Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR has requested passengers have to verify the details of trains cancelled, diverted and partially cancelled through NTES before undertaking their journey.
Further, in order to facilitate the stranded passengers of trains that are being cancelled, diverted or partially cancelled, a special train will be operated between New Bongaigaon-Guwahati-New Bongaigaon from March 7 to 19.
Accordingly, Train no. 05869 (New Bongaigaon-Guwahati) Special will depart from New Bongaigaon at 13:45 hours and arrive Guwahati at 18:10 hours. In return direction, train no. 05870 (Guwahati-New Bongaigaon) Special will depart from Guwahati at 19:00 hours and arrive New Bongaigaon at 23:30 hours. The special train will have stoppages at all the enroute stations.
