Dignitaries and others during the Nagaland Home Guards Service Association 12th general session at Central Training Institute, Dimapur on March 16
Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): The Nagaland Home Guards Service Association (NHGSA) held its 12th general session at Central Training Institute, Toluvi, Dimapur on March 16.
L Bendang Lemtur, IPS, Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and State Disaster Response Force graced the occasion as a special Invitee. Lemtur encouraged the officers to instill confidence upon their subordinates. Further, he urged the members to rise above the limits of tribalism, stating that that tribalism has no place in uniform service.
He also released the amended 2nd Edition of the constitution of Nagaland Home Guards Service Association.
During the second session, important agendas regarding the Association were laid down and discussed. Two new executive members were also inducted to further strengthen the functioning and co-ordination of the Association.
Medozhalie Pienyu, Deputy Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF lauded the Association for successfully conducting the general session and challenged the members to take the responsibility of their profession seriously and to take pride in their profession in order to take the department forward.
