The National Health Mission (NHM) Employees Association Nagaland today observed a nationwide one day cease work strike called by the All India National Health Mission Employees Association.
Observing the strike, a brief programme took place in the premises of the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima.
The strike was called with regard to their demands for equal work, equal pay; basic service benefit for NHM employees; framing and implementation of HR Policy as per GoI guidelines; and regularization of service.
Source said the strike would intensify if a memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office is not addressed promptly.
