Dimapur, February 23 (MExN): The Niki Sumi-led NSCN (K) has reiterated its commitment towards an inclusive Naga political solution.
In a statement issued by Nikato Pilot Sumi, Kilonser MIP, the NSCN (K) refuted ‘some purported statement’ by some Naga national workers being circulated on social media. Without mentioning the details of the ‘statements’ , the NSCN (K) added that its previous statement on December 26, 2020 can be referred to for all the charges leveled.
The December 26 statement had mentioned that the Niki Sumi-led NSCN (K) was not heading for surrender but had instead revived the ceasefire with the Government of India, on the initiation of the latter.
Adding that it had clearly explained its political stance as well as the utter condemnation of the malicious news reportage from some media houses, the Niki Sumi-led NSCN (K) reiterated its commitment “to bring about the fruition of an inclusive Naga political solution.”
