NNC allege Kilo Kilonser abducted by NSCN/GPRN

Dimapur, July 21 (MExN): The NNC (Non-Accordist) today accused the NSCN/GPRN (Isak-Muivah) of abducting a ‘kilo kilonser’, one Hangping Zeliang, in his 70s, on July 12. The ‘kilonser’ was returning from Punglwa when the NSCN/GPRN of the Zeliangrong region abducted him and was tortured and interrogated for three days. “The only reason for his abduction was because he was working in the setup of the NNC (NA),” a note from he NNC (NA) publicity wing stated today.
The organization expressed wonder for the reason the NSCN/GPRN took that “unwanted step”. If Zeliang had committed any act of treason “we would not have been very vocal about this incident. But as far as we know he is honest and man of integrity.”  Objecting to the incident, the NNC (NA) said even if “your organization” does not respect the “office” he holds, Nagas by nature respect their elders, however high or low.
“Mr. Hangping Zeliang in his 70s is a respectable elderly man and we accept you to treat him as a respectable elderly person,” the NNC (NA) stated.
When all Nagas are aspiring for peace and reconciliation now, the organization stated, “We fail to understand why some group/region of your organization is indulging in such activity.” The NNC (NA) reaffirmed its stand to uphold non-violence and said it would not indulge in any ‘activity’ that is detrimental to “our national cause.” Rather, the note said, “it is our earnest prayer that a long and lasting solution acceptable to the Nagas is the outcome of your organization dialogue with the government of India.”
