NNC (Parent Body) condemns ‘fake’ statements; reaffirms support to Nagi

Dimapur, August 1 (MExN): The NNC (Parent Body) has “denounced” Z. Royim’s leadership as stated in earlier statements.

A statement from YC Lotha, Information & Publicity Wing, NNC (Parent Body) affirmed that Royim is “not worthy to be called a leader as he has no moral authority and executive power as officially and publicly condemned and rejected by the entire NNC Body.”

It called it a “shame” that Royim “could not stand on his official speech” of May 16, 2018 on Naga National Plebiscite Day.

Meanwhile, it condemned the “fake article” published on July 30 in the name of NNC (Parent Body) without any name and identity. “Another misleading article on August 1 made in the name of NNC Parent Body is completely false and ‘the media cell’ mentioned in the article doesn't exist at all in reality. These are the proof of deception and delusion that this false leader propagates to confuse and manipulate the Naga people,” the statement maintained.

The NNC (Parent Body) once again extended “unequivocal support” to the General Secretary and Co-Convener V Nagi for his “uncompromising stand on the inalienable historical and political rights of the Nagas.”
