NNC (PB) urges 'nations to speak out for Naga people'

Dimapur, November 30 (MExN): The NNC (Parent Body) has urged all to remember the “political plight of the Naga people for the last more than 70 long years of oppression and suppression of Naga political rights by the Government of India and the Military Junta of Myanmar and their forceful occupation and division of the Naga homeland.”

The Information & Publicity Wing, NNC (Parent Body) in a press release made an appeal to “all the peace loving nations and people to speak out for the Naga people and their political plight for peace and development in the Region.”

It stated that “being the Institution of the whole Naga People, at this festive season greet and welcome all the foreign dignitaries, delegates, foreign tourists etc, into the homeland of the Naga people in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”

“The NNC (Parent Body) on behalf of all the Nagas express our joy and happiness to all the people who have come to grace the festivals of the Nagas at this season of Christmas. May our living God bless you all and may it be a meaningful and memorable stay in our homeland Nagaland,” it conveyed.
