Functionaries, Civil and Naga Army of the NNC/FGN, Sumi Region during its meeting in Dimapur on October 30.
Dimapur, October 30 (MExN): The NNC/FGN, Sumi Region today reposed its faith in the leadership of Brig. (Retd) S Singnya, Kedahge, Federal Government of Nagaland as well as the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs).
A three-point resolution regarding the same was adopted unanimously during a meeting of all the functionaries, Civil and Naga Army of the NNC/FGN, Sumi Region on October 30 in Dimapur.
The Sumi Region, as per the resolution, unanimously extended its appreciation with the able leadership of Brig (Retd) Singnya for “leading with experience and wisdom and upholding the ardent desire and aspirations of the Naga people.”
It further expressed appreciation to the wisdom of the WC, NNPGs in the signing of ‘Agreed Position’ on November 17, 2017 with the Government of India, stated a press release from Khutovi Awomi, Midan Peyu, Sumi Region NNC/FGN.
The Sumi Region of NNC/FGN also unanimously resolved to continue extending full support to the WC, NNPGs in its endeavour to resolve the protracted Indo-Naga political problem and hopes that the political settlement will be resolved peacefully at an early date, it added.
