
Dimapur, May 4 (MExN): The active COVID-19 case count remained at zero for eleven consecutive days in Nagaland as no new cases were reported on Wednesday. According to the state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) of the Health and Family Welfare Department, 74 samples were tested in the last 24 hours with zero new cases. Overall, the tally of infections in the state remained at 35,488 out of which 33,244 people have so far recovered from the disease. The recovery rate was 93.68 per cent. The death toll due to the infection stood at 760—four of which were classified as ‘non Covid deaths (with COVID-19 positivity).’ Altogether 1,484 patients have migrated to other states, the IDSP data stated.
