No Life without Road for Road is a Daily Bread

There is an absolute lack of sensitivity among the people that they actually eat and drink road every day. A poor road is a poor economy, state, nation, poor people and a poor land. There will be lifeless without road in the history of human existence. Road gives everything on earth to human being for its survival as Edward Carr, says, road itself is the road to a sustainable future (2011); there is no good future of the Naga people without road/good road. The value of road is as great as the value of a single life. However, this value has been kept abandoned, discriminated and manipulated in Nagaland. This portrays that no single Naga has born to value road or know the value of road. The most valued and the top priority for human existence is road and this has been considered as the least in the lives of the Nagas. The road condition in Nagaland indicates that Naga people have zero knowledge about the value of road. Naga people in general have failed to know that road is equivalent to every second breath that gives life for every second survival. Without road, no human being has any possibility to move even a single step and people would die on the spot for there is no road to move on. Such is the greatness of the value of road which in fact is the utmost priority to building good road and caring road every day. Road builds relationship of people, it bridges nation to nations, it connects the entire globe to oneness, it brings goods and sends goods, it brings and sends development, beautiful nation, home, community, society, cities, towns and so on. Most significantly, road is everything to human survival.
 
It is undeniable that condition of road depicts the mentality of the people; it is a revelation of the concealed characters of the people. In this, good road comes from good people and poor road is the lack of sensitivity towards building good life. A journey of a single step is the beginning of searching a road towards creating prosperity and integrity. Road excels development, comforts, wealth, healthy living, live sustenance, good food, water, electricity, good vehicles, transportation, schools, offices, markets and above all a good humanity in equality for good future. Good road moreover, reflects the honesty and transparency, hard work and dignity that value every single road. To value and respect road is to value one’s own life and building the foundation of living good life with good city, village, town and building good relationship with local, nation and global living and non-living existence. The hardest thing that human being would ever experience for its survival is life without road.
 
The growth of good economy emerges from good road and the paradox of this strategy is vividly and explicitly reflected in Nagaland that the worst economy or the poorest economy in the country exists in Nagaland due to poor road. This occurs because Nagas are more focused or see the good fruits of a tree than focusing on growing a good tree that produces good fruits. India gives financial supports to Nagaland government every five years, however, it is known as insufficient fund to develop the small state. Whether India gives sufficient or insufficient funds to Nagaland, the most important thing of it is the process of good managing what is available to build a good state. The biggest loophole of the poorest economy of the state is the lack of building good road for aid to build the small state.  The state, political leaders, stakeholders and the common people are equally responsible to take the fundamental proactive role and action to value road in the state.
 
The lack of vision within every budgeted year is another major challenge towards having good road of sustainable development in Nagaland. From a socio-economic to manufacturing field that effects the entire development in the State is strongly affected since the past 55 years in the State which Nagaland celebrates its Statehood anniversary on 1st December every year. According to the years of the existence of the state, comparatively, the development condition of Nagaland is way far behind which in fact would have been far beyond a better condition than the current poor state. The political party, state government, non-government organizations, units and the common people are so ignorant that road is the primary factor for the state to engage with global market, money, infrastructure, and development in villages, towns and so on. The dedication of human and financial resources is very weak that the State has failed to strengthen the strategy of development. The state investment on road development is totally zero, which is why nowhere in Nagaland has any good road even for a short distance.
  Poor road is poor health, poor life, poor education, poor city, town village, poor food, poor water, poor vehicles and over all poor people in a poor land. A home without road, office without road, market without road, house without road and so on is an unimaginable expectation of survival, moreover a good survival. This emerges as the value of road is not well known to the people. The people need a good education of learning the primary knowledge of the value of road. Subsequently, it is a must to attain the education of building road with honor and respect to make a way for their survival and build a future of prosperity, life of integrity and the land of connectivity with the rest of the good road world for the growth of good import and export state and nation.
