‘No to Plastic’

Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima organized community learning and outreach activity on ‘No to Plastic’ under the Nai Talim Programme on May 25. A total of 100 Student-teachers of the 2nd semester participated in the cleanliness drive at Phesama village. They visited Government Middle School, Phesama, interacted with students, and played a skit on ‘No to Plastic.’ Student-Teachers and Coordinator Dr Velankanni Alex spoke on the topic. The team also met Phesama Village Council president followed by a meeting and discussion on the importance of village cleanliness and avoiding the usage of plastic for a better environment.
